Pedestrian killed as KSRTC driver suffers heart attack

MYSURU, 2 APRIL
A 42-year-old KSRTC bus driver died of cardiac arrest while
driving, and the tragedy led to a woman’s death after the rudderless bus moved
her down near Dammanakatte in HD Kote taluk on Wednesday.
According to police, the deceased have been identified as
driver Sunil Kumar of Mysuru and Lakshmamma, 55, of Dammanakatte village in HD
Kote taluk.
The incident took place near Dammanakote when Kumar, who was driving the bus from Mananadavadi to HD Kote town, slumped onto the steering wheel. The bus moved down Lakshmamma, hit electric poles and veered off the road into an agricultural field.
