President BY Vijayendra has vehemently opposed the Congress government's recent
decision to introduce a 4 per cent reservation for Muslims in public contracts,

Vijayendra argued
that there is no constitutional basis for reservation based on religion,
asserting that the move aims to sow division among communities.
In a post on social media platform 'X', Vijayendra claimed this decision represents a wider pattern of discrimination against Hindus and other communities.
