Mysuru homemaker dies by suicide over dowry harassment

MYSURU, 14 MARCH

A 25-year-old homemaker died by suicide by hanging herself at her residence in Shindenahalli, Hanagodu hobli, Hanur taluk, allegedly due to dowry harassment. According to the police, the name of the deceased is Reshma. Police have arrested her husband Srinivasa. Shanthamma, her mother alleged in the complaint that Srinivasa, along with his brother Sridhar and their parents, Saraswathamma and Madegowda, repeatedly harassed Reshma both mentally and physically over dowry demands.
