Family of four found dead at apartment in Mysuru
Mysuru Police Commissioner Seema Latkar said the family of four were living in two separate flats in Sankalp Apartment within Vidyaranyapura police limits.

A family of four
members were found dead at a residential apartment in Vishweshwaraiah Nagar of
Mysuru on Monday, police said.
The deceased
have been identified as Chetan, 45, his wife Rupali, 43, their son Kushal, 15,
and Chetan's mother Priyamvada, 62.
Chethan was found hanging, while son Kushal, a
class X student, appeared to have been strangled.
Citing the
findings of a preliminary investigation, a senior police officer said that Chetan
might have poisoned his family members before hanging himself.
Mysuru Police
Commissioner Seema Latkar said the family of four were living in two separate
flats in Sankalp Apartment within Vidyaranyapura police limits. While
Priyamvada resided in of the flats, Chetan, his wife and their son lived in another
flat.
Latkar said Chetan
hailed from Gorur in Hassan and his wife is from Mysuru. Chetan had called his
brother Bharath in US, who in turn called Rupali's parents to check on them,
and when they visited the apartment, the incident came to light. The police
visited the spot on receiving information.
Latkar said
Chetan was a mechanical engineer and worked in Dubai before moving to Mysuru in
2019. He worked as a labourer contractor here who used to send labourers to
Saudi, she said.
