DHARMASTHALA, 7 JAN

 

Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar on Tuesday urged citizens to transcend the politics of disruption and unite towards the goal of a developed India by 2047. "It is not a dream anymore, but it is our objective," he asserted during the launch of the nation's largest ‘queue complex’ at Sri Manjunatha Temple, named ‘Shri Saanidhya.’

 

During his address, Dhankhar emphasised the need to counteract anti-India forces that seek to weaken the nation through division and misinformation. "We must stop them from tarnishing the great name of our country and its achievements towards inclusivity, welfare, and strengthening democracy," he stated.

 

Accompanied by his wife Sudesh, Dhankhar paid his respects to Lord Manjunatha Swamy, a form of Shiva, along with D Veerendra Heggade, the Dharmadhikari of Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala, prior to the event. He also toured the new queue complex, commending the temple trust for its dedication to providing modern infrastructure for devotees. -PTI
