Committee (KPCC) spokesperson M Lakshmana filed a complaint with the
Superintendent of Lokayukta T Udesh in Mysuru against RTI activist Snehamayi
Krishna on Wednesday. This action comes amid a series of complaints made by
Krishna against Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.
Speaking to reporters after
submitting his complaint, Lakshmana alleged that Krishna has made baseless
accusations against him, claiming that he frequently visits the Lokayukta
office to influence officials in favour of the Chief Minister concerning the
ongoing Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) scam, which allegedly
involves family members of Siddaramaiah.
“I have not visited the Lokayukta
office nor pressured any officials,” Lakshmana stated, clarifying that despite
his denials, Krishna filed a complaint
He urged the Lokayukta to
investigate the background of the RTI activist, highlighting that over 40 cases
have been registered against him in various police stations across Mysuru.
Lakshmana further claimed that
Krishna is acting under the influence of State and Union BJP leaders, asserting
that Krishna’s allegations are part of a broader political agenda to undermine
him and the Chief Minister. -Salar News
