Days after
filing an FIR against Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and his family in MUDA case,
Lokayukta police on Thursday questioned CM's brother-in-law Mallikarjuna Swamy,
who had purchased the controversial land in Kesare in return for which MUDA
allotted 14 alternative sites to his sister Parvathi.
Devaraju J,
who had sold the 3.16 acres in Kesare to Swamy, also appeared before Lokayukta
cops. They were quizzed separately.
Lokayukta SP TJ Udesh had issued a notice to both on Wednesday to appear before him on Thursday.
The move
comes days after a special court directed Lokayukta to carry out a probe
against Siddaramaiah on allegations of illegalities in the allotment of 14
sites worth Rs 56 crore to his wife Parvathi by MUDA. –Salar News
