Kashinatha Shivanagowda, father of Renukaswamy who was allegedly murdered by Kannada actor Darshan Thogudeepa and his associates, has urged Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to order a judicial enquiry into the death of his son.

Speaking to Salar News from his home in Chitradurga on Monday, he said: “I have lost all trust in the system after watching Darshan on TV, sipping tea and smoking a cigarette with other rowdy elements. We have lost our loving son and it is distressing to see the accused Darshan enjoying himself in jail. All this talk of suspension of jail officials will last only for a month or two. He has enough clout and money power to come out unscathed.”

Shivangowda said: “He has violently killed my son and now I see him in the outdoors of the jail enjoying himself. He is sending out a message that no one can touch me I have the money and the clout.” –Salar News
