BENGALURU, 7 AUG
In a significant development in Renukaswamy
murder case, Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) has confirmed that blood stains
found on actor Darshan’s clothing match with those of the victim. The forensic
analysis was conducted on a pair of blue jeans and a black round-neck shirt
that were seized from Darshan’s residence by police.
A separate incident in Raichur has ignited
public outrage. At Lakshmi Ranganath Temple in Masarakal village, Raichur, the
priests performed a ritual after placing the photo of Darshan alongside a
deity’s idol. The inclusion of Darshan’s image in a religious context,
especially while he is under arrest and facing serious charges, has been deemed
inappropriate by many arguing that it disrespects religious sentiments and
deviates from traditional Kannada cultural norms.
Ashok Kumar Jain, a pro-Kannada activist,
has called for an apology from the temple priests, asserting that such actions
tarnish the sanctity of the temple and misrepresent cultural
values. –Salar News
