The autopsy report of Renukaswamy, allegedly killed by actor Darshan

One of his ears was also missing and his mouth was mutilated.
Meanwhile, police claimed that Darshan, who has been arrested in the
murder case, confessed to giving Rs 30 lakh to accused Pradosh for the disposal
of the body and to ensure that his name does not come out.
As per the forensic evidence, Renukaswamy sustained 15 grievous injuries
all over his body. The autopsy claims that there was significant bleeding in
his hands, feet, back, and chest. He succumbed to blood clots caused by the
assault. The victim was reportedly beaten with a wooden stick and a belt.
Additionally, the post-mortem report has revealed that dogs had eaten
the man’s face and some parts of his body.
Pictures from the crime scene have been circulated on social media,
showing a missing ear and multiple bruises on his body.
"From the spot of the crime, things such as lathi and wooden logs
used for the alleged assault have been recovered along with water bottle, blood
stains and material evidence, and DVR containing the CCTV footage," the
official said, adding, "blood stains were also found on the vehicle
allegedly used for disposing of the body".
A total 17 people, including Darshan and his friend Pavithra Gowda, are
accused in the murder case.
According to police sources, Renukaswamy, a fan of the actor, had sent
obscene messages to Gowda, which enraged Darshan, allegedly leading to his
murder. His body was found near a storm-water drain next to an apartment in
Sumanahalli here on 9 June.
According to sources, one of the accused, Raghavendra, who is part of
Darshan’s fan club in Chitradurga, had brought Renukaswamy to a shed in RR
Nagar here, on the pretext that Darshan wanted to meet him. It was in this shed
that he was allegedly tortured and killed.
The investigation team is believed to have gathered enough evidence,
including CCTV footage, which could establish that Darshan was present during
the alleged assault on Renukaswamy, leading to his death, sources said.
