Constitution is under threat under BJP rule in the country and only Congress can safeguard it, said Congress candidate for Bengaluru Central constituency Mansoor Ali Khan on Wednesday.

Only Congress and Aam Aadmi Party are working to protect the Constitution, but now the latter is in danger under the BJP rule, Khan said during a meeting with party workers in Shivajinagar here. Housing Minister BZ Zameer Ahmed Khan and Shivajinagar MLA Rizwan Arshad were among those present at the meeting.

Congress-rules states such as Karnataka and Telangana are providing free bus rides to women and this is bringing significant changes to the lives of women. BJP and its allies are in power in 18 states in India and none of them is offering free bus rides for women, Mansoor said on the ‘X’ platform.

Zameer said, “Bengaluru Central has historically been a stronghold for Congress, and the people here are more concerned about development and progress rather than divisive issues like Hindu-Muslim conflicts.”

Health Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao took part in a public meeting of Mansoor in Gandhinagar on Wednesday. Rao said Mansoor will bring good developments in Bengaluru Central constituency. “Mansoor talks less and works more. I have been seeing his work since Yuva Congress era. As AICC Secretary incharge of Telangana Assembly elections 2023, he played a crucial role for party’s victory,” he said. -Salar News
