Where is Acche Din?, CM asks Modi
"Did the price of diesel, petrol and gas go down? Did they succeed in creating two crore jobs a year? All they do is blatant lying,” Siddaramaiah said
BENGALURU, 23 MARCH
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah
on Saturday questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the promises made
during the previous General Elections. “Where is Acche Din? (Good Days). Did
the price of diesel, petrol and gas go down? Did they succeed in creating two
crore jobs a year? All they do is blatant lying,” Siddaramaiah said.
BJP provokes people emotionally and
abandons them. “We are not like the BJP, we will respond to the needs of the
lives around us,” Siddaramaiah said while speaking at a conference held for
guarantee schemes’ officers at KPCC office here.
Modi is the most lying Prime
Minister among the Prime Ministers of India, he said. “They have now stolen our
guarantees and named it as the Modi guarantee. Our guarantee schemes are for
all religions, castes and classes. Our Congress government is making programmes
that treat everyone equally,” Siddaramaiah said.
Siddaramaiah said the Congress
government is empowering the people, women and youth of the country
economically and socially. “The only danger for Congress right now is BJP
claiming all our programmes as theirs. We have told the chairpersons and
members of the guarantee scheme committee to tell the truth to people,” the
Chief Minister said. —Salar News
