Cheteshwar Pujara, one of India’s finest Test batters, announced his retirement from all forms of cricket on Sunday at the age of 37.

 

In a heartfelt social media post, Pujara reflected on his journey from a small-town boy in Rajkot to representing India at the highest level. “Wearing the Indian jersey, singing the anthem, and giving my best on the field was an experience beyond words,” he wrote, expressing immense gratitude for the opportunities the game gave him.
