Indian wushu team dominates Sanda World Cup

Indian wushu player Mukesh Choudhary won the gold medal in 75kg while five others reached the final of the 10th Sanda World Cup here. The six-member Indian contingent has displayed remarkable skill and determination against some of the best wrestlers in the world in the tournament so far.
The highlight of India's campaign so far has been Choudhary, who bagged the gold medal in the 75kg category after an impressive win over his French opponent in the final. In the 48kg category, Kushal continued India's winning streak by defeating his opponent from Yemen to make the final.
Ravi Panchal, competing in the 65kg category, displayed exceptional technique to beat his opponent from Kazakhstan to make the final. In the 52kg category, Anuj Kumar is set to compete in the final while Rajat Charak will fight for gold in the 85kg category. Among the women athletes, Chhabi, competing in the 48kg category, entered the finals after registering a strong win over her Portuguese opponent.
