Young Indian batter Tilak Varma is in brilliant form, showcasing his talent in the second T20I against England at , Chennai.

The 22-year-old left-hander smashed an unbeaten 72 off 55 balls, featuring four fours and five sixes. His stellar knock earned him the Player of the Match award.

Tilak’s remarkable 72-run innings also etched his name in T20I history as he became the first player from a full-member nation to score over 300 runs without getting dismissed.

Across his last four T20I innings, Tilak has accumulated 318 runs with scores of 107, 120, 19, and 72*.

This incredible feat surpasses New Zealand’s Mark Chapman’s previous record of 271 runs between two dismissals. Tilak, who debuted in August 2023, continues to solidify his reputation as a rising star in Indian cricket.
