Over 12 shops destroyed in fire at market in Chhattisgarh's Bilaspur
A fire broke out at 3am on 4 June at Sanichari Bazar in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, gutting 12–15 shops, including a godown, garment stores, and an eatery. No injuries were reported. A short-circuit is suspected. Loss assessment and probe are underway.

Local BJP leader shot dead in Uttarakhand's Dehradun
Former BJP Yuva Morcha leader Rohit Negi was shot dead at Peepal Chowk, Dehradun, after midnight on 3 Jun. Accused Azhar Tyagi allegedly fired at him following a dispute over a female friend. A murder case has been registered. Probe is ongoing.
