J-K: Gate of Salal Dam in Reasi district opened to manage rising water levels
A gate of the Salal Dam in Reasi, J-K, was opened to manage rising water levels. Gates were shut after India suspended the Indus Water Treaty post-Pahalgam attack. Baglihar Dam was opened on 8 May after heavy rainfall. The treaty remains in abeyance.
