TV actor Anuj Sachdeva attacked with rod in Mumbai over; parking dispute

Television actor Anuj Sachdeva, best known for his roles in shows such as Phir Subah Hogi and Itti Si Khushi, was left bleeding after being attacked in public near his residence in Mumbai’s Goregaon West.

 

The actor took to Instagram to share details of the incident, alleging that a man attacked him and attempted to harm his pet dog with a rod after Sachdeva flagged a wrongly parked car in his housing society. Sharing video evidence of the incident, the actor said he feared further harm.

 

"I am posting this evidence before this person tries to do any damage to me or my property. He tried hitting my dog and me with a rod for notifying the society group regarding his car, which was parked in the wrong place in the society parking. Harmony Mall residency. Goregaon West," Anuj Sachdeva wrote.

 

According to the actor, the attack resulted in a head injury that left him bleeding. In the video shared online, an agitated man is seen charging towards Sachdeva with a rod, abusing and threatening him as the situation quickly spiralled out of control.

 

The altercation ended only after a security guard intervened and pulled the attacker away. A visibly injured Sachdeva later addressed the camera, urging people to circulate the video to ensure action.

 

The incident sparked widespread concern on social media, with many users urging the actor to lodge a police complaint. One user commented, "Hope you are okay. He needs to be behind bars. These are the real threats to society. Please share this also on social media," while another wrote, "Please file a police complaint without any delay."
