Speaking
during the 'Janta ki Adalat' event at Jantar Mantar in Delhi on Sunday, Aam
Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo and former Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal said
that Prime Minister Narendra Modi conspired to prove that he was corrupt.
“Prime
Minister Narendra Modi conspired against us. He conspired to prove me and (AAP
leader) Manish Sisodia corrupt. He tried to taint our image," Kejriwal
said.
“For the
last ten years, we were running the government honestly, we made electricity
and water free, made treatment free for people, and made education excellent…
Modi ji started thinking that if he wanted to win against them, he would have
to attack their honesty and then hatched a conspiracy to prove Kejriwal,
Sisodia and AAP dishonest and put every leader in jail,” he said.
In a new
political strategy, he demanded answers from the RSS for Modi's actions, in an
apparent bid to diminish his stature by implying that the parent Hindutva
organisation was the master which should keep its child in control.
The AAP
leader informed that he will vacate the Chief Minister’s official bungalow at
the beginning of Navratri.
Also,
Kejriwal wanted to know if RSS agreed with the BJP's politics of using central
agencies to break up parties and topple opposition governments, and inducting
"corrupt" leaders into its fold. -Agencies
