Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have donated $26 million to 20 different charities across the United States ahead of their reported wedding in New York this weekend.
The donation will support organisations working in hunger relief, education, animal welfare and community development in cities closely associated with the couple, including New York City, Nashville and Kansas City.
Among the beneficiaries are City Harvest, Food Bank For NYC, New York Cares, Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, Harvesters – The Community Food Network, Feeding America, the ASPCA, Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, Grammy In The Schools, and Education Through Music, among others.
While the announcement did not explicitly mention the reported wedding, the timing has drawn attention as speculation grows that the couple will marry at Madison Square Garden in New York.
Swift has previously been recognised for her philanthropy, including awarding six-figure bonuses and handwritten letters to members of her Eras Tour crew at the end of the record-breaking tour.
Several celebrities, including Ed Sheeran, Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Sabrina Carpenter, have reportedly been spotted arriving in New York ahead of the celebrations.
Fans have also pointed to the $26 million donation as a possible nod to Swift's favourite number 13, noting that 26 is double the number long associated with the singer.
The couple has not publicly confirmed details of the reported wedding.
