Want 'Dhurandhar' to take Indian cinema to global stage: Ranveer Singh
Directed and co-produced by Aditya Dhar, the film releases on 5 December.

Ranveer Singh on Tuesday said his new film Dhurandhar aims to take Indian cinema to the global stage. The espionage thriller is directed, written and co-produced by Aditya Dhar, known for Uri: The Surgical Strike, and is inspired by real covert operations.
Ranveer said the team has “raised the bar” and created visuals “on
par with any film in the world.” Dhar said his goal is to position Indian
cinema internationally and make films that stand beside global successes like
Parasite.
The film features Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal,
Rakesh Bedi, Sara Arjun and Manav Gohil. Cast members described the project as
ambitious, demanding and special to work on.
Dhar thanked the team for working long hours for more than a year. Dhurandhar, presented by Jio Studios and B62 Studios, releases on 5 December.
