Tiger Woods has confirmed that he is in a relationship with Donald Trump's former daughter-in-law Vanessa Trump. Woods announced the news on 24 March. "Love is in the air and life is better with you by my side! We look forward to our journey through life together. At this time we would appreciate privacy for all those close to our hearts." Woods wrote to his 6.4 million followers on X.

Woods has not yet revealed his motivation behind the post. Notably, Woods justified a similar announcement of his relationship with Lindsey Vonn on social media back in 2013 by saying "I wanted to limit 'stalkerazzi' and all the nasty websites that are following us," adding that this could lead to dangerous situations involving his children. He also said that his photos would reduce the value of anything the paparazzi have.

Vanessa was married to Donald Trump Jr from 2005 to 2018 with whom she has five children. Woods has played golf with Donald Trump on several occasions. Trump awarded Woods the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2019. In February, Woods attended a meeting with Trump at the White House to discuss the fractured state of golf amid the rise of the Saudi-backed LIV Tour.
