Hubbali Police register POCSO case against 3 minor boys
The complaint relates to alleged incidents that occurred over several days while the girl’s parents were away.

The police registered a Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO) case against three minor boys aged between 14 and 15 for alleged sexual harassment in Hubbali.
Police said the boys assaulted the girl for over a week, while the girl’s parents were away during the day. “A complaint was filed saying that a minor girl was subjected to sexual harassment and assaulted by the three boys.
We have taken them into custody,” N Shashikumar, the Police Commissioner of Hubballi-Dharwad, said. “These boys committed sexual offences against the girl during the last seven to eight days.
The parents of the girl are working, and they used to be away during the day,” the Police Commissioner added. Shashikumar said that the police will follow procedures under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act and the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act. Further investigation is underway
