A Holi celebration turned tragic in Anekal Taluk on Saturday morning, when three labourers from Bihar were found dead at an under-construction apartment building under Sarjapur police station limits.

The deceased are Ansu, 19, and Radhe Shyam, while the identity of the third victim remains unconfirmed. All three were employed as construction workers at the site and hailed from a village in Bihar.

According to police investigations, six labourers, all from Bihar, had gathered at the building on Friday night to celebrate Holi. The festivities escalated into a violent brawl in the early hours of Saturday. During the altercation, the men reportedly attacked each other with metal rods and bricks. Ansu, Radhe Shyam, and one unidentified worker died on the spot from their injuries. Another worker is critically injured and is receiving treatment at a government hospital. Two other labourers fled the scene and are now absconding, police said.

Superintendent of Police, Bengaluru Rural, CK Baba, visited the crime scene and oversaw the investigation. Forensic teams and dog squads collected vital evidence, and authorities have launched a manhunt for the missing suspects as the probe continues.
