Passengers in the City yet again in soup on Thursday as Air India Express cabin crew members continuing with the sick leave leading to cancellations of nine flight operations from Kempegowda International Airport (KIA).

While talking to Salar News, Maya Singh, a passenger who was about to fly to Mumbai on Thursday expressed her frustration with Air India Express; she said “I have reported receiving no information about cancellations. I was supposed to fly out this morning but only after reaching there I found out that my flight was cancelled. The airline has promised a refund of my money within seven days but still I am not satisfied with the service.”

Prajwal Desai, another passenger said, “I have been waiting since morning at the KIA to fly down to Pune for an important conference. I was waiting for a good four hours and cancelled it later on as there was no use for me to fly there after missing the conference. Is this how you treat customers?”.

The airline has grounded a total of 85 flights as of Thursday. The carrier advised the passengers to check their flight status before heading to the airport. Those impacted by cancellations or delays exceeding 3 hours are eligible for a full refund or free rescheduling on a later date.
