Bengaluru has 98.43 lakh voters in final LS electoral rolls

Bengaluru Urban has the highest number of voters with 37,19,723, followed by Bengaluru North at 22,09,318, Bengaluru South at 20,56,109 and Central at 18,05,349.

As per the revised final electoral roll for Lok Sabha polls  2024, Bengaluru has over 98.43 lakh voters including, 50.78 lakh men 47.63 lakh women and 1,784 in the others category.


Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) published the revised list on Monday.


There are total voters in 98,43,577 the city of which  1,12,242 will vote for the first time


On 27th October last year, BBMP released a draft list of voters, which included 97,90,499 voters. This number has since increased by over 53,000 voters this year.


Bengaluru Urban has the highest number of voters with 37,19,723, followed by Bengaluru North at 22,09,318, Bengaluru South at 20,56,109 and Central at 18,05,349.


The final electoral rolls are available on the State Election Commission and BBMP websites.


 Changes, including additions and deletions, can be made on the Election Commission of India website up to 10 days before the nomination process concludes. Citizens who have not applied for the Voter ID cards can apply and it will also be open 10 days before the nomination date is released.
